Paper Eskimo Sets Its Eyes on the Southwest

Paper Eskimo, a global paper party supply company which was founded over a decade ago in Australia by two intrepid designers Lama Perin and Michelle Farrington, has set its eyes on the Southwest United States.

When the founders of Paper Eskimo say down over ten years ago to put together a business plan for their fledgling paper party supply company, there is no way they could have imaged it would eventually become the international brand it is today.

The hunger for Paper Eskimos’ unique, boutique style paper party products has never been higher, yet for Lama Perin and Michelle Farrington, that just isn’t enough. They want their products to be able to touch the lives of as many people across the globe as possible. To that end, they have begun to focus their efforts into building brand awareness in the Southwest United States.

"We want to be able to reach everyone, regardless of where they live or how they celebrate. Paper Eskimo is about creating memories and building comminity, and that isn't something we believe is just global, be believe it is universal,"

Paper Eskimo, which had long been a domestic Australian company, first launched its products in the United States during the New York International Gift Fair in 2012. Since that day, they have been growing rapidly.

As the part of the next phase of their growth, Paper Eskimo has decided to turn its attentions to California and Arizona. Paper Eskimo sees the incredible market potential of these states, and looks at this as an opportunity to make Paper Eskimo a part of people’s lives for many years to come.

“Our favorite things is when parents use out party products at first birthday parties. We don’t want to be around for just one party in someone’s life, we want to be there with them as they grow up. We want them to be able to look back from their 18th birthday party and see gorgeous Paper Eskimo designs touching every year of their life. There are over 500,000 first birthdays a year in California alone, we want to help touch the lives of as many of those smiling, happy, soon-to-be one-year-olds as we can,” said Joanna Palmer of Paper Eskimo.

Although Paper Eskimo is growing in the United States, they remain absolutely committed to retaining the status as a global brand. They were born in Australia, and that will always be a part of who they are.

“We want to be able to reach everyone, regardless of where they live or how they celebrate. Paper Eskimo is about creating memories and building comminity, and that isn’t something we believe is just global, be believe it is universal,” Joanna Palmer added.
